Mars Model In Organisational Behaviour

MARS model is an example of individual behavior that combines external and internal influences. It addresses four factors that directly impact the candidate’s work performance. These factors include Motivation, Ability and Role Perception. If one of these factors is not in balance, it can directly affect an individual’s performance. Example: A person with sufficient knowledge and resources to complete an activity will not be able to do his job well if he lacks the skills or abilities.

Park workers can interact with all age groups, children, staff and participate in community events. A person must be able to do multiple tasks in order to qualify for this occupation. The presentation of recreation departments is influenced by two factors: Role perception and Ability. The reason is that employees in parks and entertainment areas must be able to do multiple tasks at once. Robbins & Judge (2011) state that ability refers to the individual’s ability to perform different activities within a single profession. The ability is a key factor in achieving a goal. However, if this is lacking, all other dimensions will be meaningless. This field is also where employees are not able to perform well or understand the tasks. For example, an employee who has high motivation, time and budget but is disoriented from the goal will not be able to achieve it.

The solution to these issues is increasing the pragmatic skills of the employees. This includes students who have a degree as recreational and parks administration being able to design summer camps and learning the basics of budget analysis, financial management, and event finance. It provides employees with education about innovative thinking, new technologies in role perception, planning and execution of solutions, and analysis. To improve the capabilities by providing training and redesigning work fitness. Senior supervisors and coordinators are responsible for identifying job duties.
